Terms of Service

1. Who we are

LonelyTrip ("LonelyTrip", "we", "us") is a marketplace that connects travelers with local experts ("Mentors") and partner agencies for travel consultations, experiences and tours. By using the platform you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must be 18+ to create an account. You are responsible for your credentials and for any activity performed under your account.

3. Bookings & payments

Bookings are contracts between you and the Mentor or partner agency. LonelyTrip acts as the technical and payment facilitator. Payments are processed via our payment provider; funds for experiences are held until the service is delivered, then released to the provider net of platform fees.

4. Cancellations & refunds

Each experience displays its cancellation policy at checkout. Refunds are processed according to that policy. Force-majeure cases are evaluated case by case.

5. Conduct

No illegal, harmful, deceptive or abusive behavior. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

6. Content & reviews

You retain rights to your content but grant LonelyTrip a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform. Reviews must be honest and based on real experiences.

7. Liability

LonelyTrip is not the organizer of the experiences and is not liable for the conduct of Mentors, agencies or travelers. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid through the platform for the disputed transaction.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Consumers retain mandatory rights granted by their country of residence.
